CI&A Discussion Thread Week 1 - Armagio

I'll get the ball rolling here. The art is definitely a 5/5 - just look at those shields - look at how dank they are. They sync up with the card's ability pretty well, since the shields look so heavy, like they have their own gravity pull to them.

The card's design is also a clear 5/5. The concept of using a creature for defense - just absolutely brilliant.

I do want to hear everyone else's thoughts though!

I guess so.
I don't play this game anymore. Does this card damage cards that attack it? If not, it should. If that's OP, lower its HP.

I am a bit saddened that I can't r8 it 8. So I rated it a 3.

My preferred improvements would be some cost tweaks that are mostly should be placed in the GS&F section, so maybe it should just affect weapons, too.

I think it should enter the field with Gravity Pull.

Super serious discussion question:

It has long been known by the elites of the forum that Armagio deals 1 damage. Where does this damage come from? Does Armagio have spikes, much like it's cousin, the Armadillo? Or is there a secret magical essence hidden inside? You'll notice from the artwork that Armagio has spiky kneecaps. Are these the source of its true power?

The greatest improvement that could be given to this card is to have the upgraded version's name changed to [opponent]'s Mom.

I always loved the way Armagio's wings... shields... doors rotate ever so slightly upwards when you upgrade him. He's like a Lamborghini.

You could spend hundreds of thousands on a brand new Italian sports car... or you could simply buy an Elite Armagio for 1500 . Now that's value!

Armagio's art is amazing, and it's effect is really cool, but I feel like it's wasting it's potential by just being a card. Armagio should be put in a position where he can give a greater benefit to the community. I think it might work well as a PvPO, so that we can have great events similar to this War revamp that Physs is working on:

In OETG, Armagio has ranged damage, because it was determined that Armagio had laser cannons  or guns or similar in the art. Which begs the question of why his attack is low instead.
