Ok. this is way better than skeleton.

But I ask a nice thing for it. Plague the devouring creature's field upon devouring, for both versions.
I mean, you eat a virus and you don't even get infected?
There are things worse than eating tuna directly from the tin

I don't think it needs a buff. And making it poisonous isn't needed to maintain logic, its a virus, and viruses have very specific conditions needed for life. Unless its a stomach virus then being devoured isn't going to hurt the devourer.

Well, poisonous or not, who uses those anyway? Slowest CC in the game that needs to survive a turn on the field to be used first?
Card is simply too weak.

IMO, this should be turned into a creature with okay-ish stats that have one time use (like lycan) to poison/plague opponent creatures. Like 2|4 zombie with ability cost.

It has good synergy with death since its action is a death. Its used enough.

Are you serious? There isnt a single good competitive deck that uses these. Please, give me that deck YOU MADE and are so happy about, around this card that works. Can I guess you never actually played this card?
Even FG that can abuse Bonewall chaining is one of the weakest FGs because he is wasting his deck slot on this cards and plagues.
Yes, this card is THAT weak.

That virus generating card would be honestly a perfect fix.
Otherwise, not much I can think of to help this.

It works fine in PvP1 for me.

Virus works fine for you eh? Its the single worst CC card in the whole game. Please post the deck here.
I'm pretty sure you're just lying and you never used this card. Or you're just new to the game and never saw alternatives.
Its interwebz, saying stuff like "it works fine" is easy.

That virus generating card would be honestly a perfect fix.

That, or a skeleton generating card (not including Boneyard). >_>

Personally, 'poisonous' to me doesn't cut it. I always thought that creatures that infected other creatures (Virus, Bloodsucker, Grey Nymph, and Toadfish [NOT Pufferfish]) should get something called Toxic, in which the devouring creature would be afflicted by Aflatoxin, rather than Poison. Upon death, the disease they obtain from the creature they swallow would grow into something much more destructive as a whole. Creatures causing poison/having venom (Scorpions, Chrysaora, Pufferfish, Flying Arsenic) would still retain their poisonous passive skill.

But that's asking for too much for this little card, isn't it? :P

I just did 20 games, won 16 out of 20.  When it died, I was getting myself generally 2-3 more skeletons and a point boost to my Vulture, when the creature it targeted died, I would get the same.

It worked fine enough. Got my hand full of skeletons, killed the burrowers/shriekers and did its job. Though anytime a shield came out that blocked 1 or more damage, (Or in fire's case, did 1 or more damage) the deck was toast. But that only happened a few times.

The point is it is good enough. It would probably so better in a death/darkness duo though.

That would be an entirely different creature. Thats like saying "I think Lava Destroyer should cost 2 and have dive instead of growth."
