Point taken. Even though as it stands, overdrive would still kill it even with an upped purify.
Uh... Overdrive is -1, Upped Purify is +2.

He means the timing. Since purify takes effect at the end of the opponent's turn (as far as I remember), a creature with 1 health would still die. Which is why this is only suitable on creatures with 2 or more health. It's still a charming buff. This card alone could make your vital creature immune to fire shield, as well. It's sort of like a Momentum vs. CC shields.
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Well, after much thought and consideration, I'd like to say I support the targeting creatures buff and I'd also be happy with the 2|3 buff. :)

Hmm....maybe if cost would be cheaper on upgrade (though it should be fine to most people). I still think it is a valuable card against poison, but could be better. Targetting monsters would be nice, using liquid shadow followed by purify on a critter.

I'm more for targetting creatures.

I'd say ... 2 purify counters for each, 1 :water for unupped, 1 :rainbow for upped.

Making you immune to poison would be a HUGE nerf to poison, bad idea is bad.
If anything, buff the healing a bit.

Then wouldn't it have to destroy all the player's Sanctuaries too? As for Silence, you wouldn't be able to cast it on yourself (can't play the card in the first place).

Personally even if fire comes out with a burn mechanic I still dont think purify will be balanced enough. Personally I would love to see both the non-upgraded and upgraded get +1 regeneration each to justify the deckslot. I also dont think placing it on creatures is near enough to call for its use.
