EDIT: Ok, it worked. I know there's still about a day to do battle, but I think this screen shot illustrates the point that I won't have an opponent to do battle with. Assuming he doesn't show before the deadline, does this count as a clean sweep and give me an extra life, or just keep me from losing any this round?

I want to declare a win via forfeit for this round over SteppingStone81.

We had a difficult scheduling problem because his time zone is GMT -800 and mine is GMT +800. I offered him 3 separate play times but he declined them all. He in turn offered his playing times but I can't fit it in either.

Finally, we both agreed to play today, Monday at GMT 100 to 200. I have waited for him and he still has yet to go online at the time of this posting. I am online at both chat and forums so we could start right away if he appeared. But now, I cannot afford to wait for him any longer than our agreed time because I am at work. He must have a busy Sunday afternoon but the fact remains that we had an agreement.

Screen shots of our PM's with our agreement is available to event organizers upon request.

Ok, it seems we had a GMT conversion problem but it's good that we worked it out and got to play 3 hrs before the deadline.

i dont think some people should be given the bonus (+1 life) just because their opponent is MIA
