It was pretty close, duels wise, but most of each of our victories were concrete, and not very close.

I played my phase shield to stop his damage, then a Gravity Shield to stop his damage again, since he only had Emerald Dragons on the field.

Momentumed Dune scorps vs same + poison

Semi-mirror match. His deck was almost the same except with for poison. He only had few gravity pendulums and pillars for quanta source, and therefore couldn't bring out the scorps early enough. Although he managed to poison me early and eat away my hp, my scorps soon did a better job at that.

Speed poison vs Fractal sparks + vultures/skellies

Had an awesome start with 3 pillars, then 4 poisons and 2 jellyfish. Didn't realize what his deck was until I was panicking. On like turn 4, he managed to make 7 skellies and a 7|8 vulture, which got frozen. Without that freeze, I could've lost.

Sundial fire stall vs flying staves/stiletto

Momentumed scorps deck would've worked so well here, with RTs owning those flying weapons... But guess I took a chance.

I was one turn away from losing, when I released all 5 of my bolts and claimed the win.

Huzzah, I can has my Earth mark back. He lost Dawkness, Gravity, Light and whatever else of his choice. Feels a bit bad to do that to 'im.

He told me at the start of the duel that he knew what deck I was using, and I told him I figured he would; I'm far too busy to be surprising. x) Thus, I expected Plagues and Bone Walls, but he only got one Bone Pillar out, so even if he had any, they wouldn't have turned up before I swarmed him with my epic draw of maybe 6 Pendulums and much health left.

Next duel I went with my other fav. You know it; the deck I farmed T50 with back in the days to get the base of my wealth and up my RoL/Hope.

I never saw those Discords, luckily. Those could've been painful. On the other hand, my deck operates very well on low quanta too. In any case, very uneven fight. I could've EM'd him if I had frozen the Maxwell's as well, for instance.

Having no time for games (Internets for telling me where I take that quote from), I went back to my Fractix with a slightly uneasy feeling in my guts. It wasn't the curry chicken I had earlier today either, even if my stomach was hating on me when I played, for some reason.

Higurashi summed this one up pretty nicely. I really don't think my deck had a great chance at beating hers, but getting only one pillar didn't help either. Actually, when she finished me, I think I had three deathstalkers in my hand, and(I think) two Arsenics. I did have a couple plagues in there, but I didn't draw them, and they wouldn't have helped much if I had.

As I said, I really did have discords! Our first game for this round actually desynched right at the beginning, and she said she had to go to the bathroom so I finished it against the computer to see what kind of chance I had. Not much, just as before, but I never saw a single discord either game, so I think the RNG hates me

Like she said, I was one turn away from winning. I think she had 28 HP left, with 19 poison on her, and a two dune scorpions on my side. One had three attack, the other had six. That said, she could have dealt about three times as much damage as I could take I suppose my procrastination might have helped me if it had come out early, but oh well.

I guess I have to discard an extra couple marks so...I'll get rid of and , along with the , , and that I lost. I still have an extra mark from the first round, do I have to designate what that is right now, or can I just save it as a wild card for later?
