I'm a fan of the dual story idea and think this works, (perhaps have second attack chance a little higher, not sure)
btw, here's a link for the art which I found on the website you linked: http://gugu-troll.deviantart.com/art/Golem-93050322

The only problem with this is that if you play Adrenaline on the upped Clockwork Golem, then for 5 :earth and 3 :life, you've got 10 damage coming every turn. Despite the 2 elements needed, that's only 2 cards for something that's the equivalent of a light dragon.
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Clockwork Skeleton art is among the best I've seen in all card suggestions.

Shame the creator is unknown :(

i doubt adreniline would solve the delay problem, it says 1 turn not 1 attack, so after the first attack, it gets delayed for a turn and you wasted 3 :life giving a creature a useless adreniline

You obviously haven't noticed. When a creature with adrenaline is delayed, the number of times it would attack is subtracted from the delay (or freeze) effect.

Nepycros, an unupped Frog that costs 2  :life will do 12 damage with Adrenaline.  You'd be getting more damage for less quanta (5  :life vs. 5  :earth + 3  :life ) . Not worth it.

Updated the art. I haven't seen a copyright of any sort nor have I seen requests to use the art in other publications, so I believe it is useable.

I would increase the cost of the Golem by 2, but add the ability that it may (50%) spawn a clockwork skeleton upon death.

I was going to write exactly that, but I then realised the point he was making (I think!) is that you have a strong 10|10 (more resistant to CC than a 3|3 frog) creature with cost less than Light Dragon (which, btw, I personally think is fine because it's a two card combo!)

That would ruin the whole point of dual upgrading. Each upgrade is meant to be seperate from the other one.

Yup, plus it's duo-quanta, making it more costly. The high health is useful against damage cards, but nothing some Antimatter or Poison couldn't handle.  The point of Clockwork Golem is too be able to bypass stronger shields (like Titanium Shield) where multiple attacks cannot (heavy attack as opposed to rapid rushes), at the cost of not attacking every other turn.

Nice card, I like I like!
The unupped one should have cost lowered by 1.
It delays every turn so it dose 4 damage a turn unupped for 5 quanta, and 5 damage for 5 quanta when upped.
I think this card could use a small buff if you don't lower the cost, because there are tons of creature's with much more attack than cost, and it is not that bad.
Maybe change it to a 50-75% chance to delay for 1 turn. This would make a good attacker, but it can still backfire.
Honestly I would not use your current card just because that earth has better options right now, but if you had a chance for it to do a little more damage than it's cost it would be a great card.
That's just my thoughts.
