The current wording makes it so you couldn't play a song since you discard a card to play a song. However I do think it'd be clearer if it were part of the cost, not an extra stipulation in the ability text.

Damn, that's pretty hot. I look fairly balanced, too. Unupped version will do 3.75 damage on average, and go down before Fire Shield/Thorn Carapace a bit faster, but Adren is where I'd shine, eh? I think it's fair to say I could afford -1 cost unupped.

Upped ones are all good, as far as I'm concerned.

Glad you like it. :D I'll lower the unupped's cost to 4 and submit to Crucible.

Well, it's not impossible or insanely hard to implement. Just make it so that when you press "Upgrade", it does a brief 50/50 calculation (like flipping a coin), and then gives you either Swordsmaster Higs or Assasain Higs depending on the result, heads or tails/1 or 2.
