Terro and I made this deck for R6 of the war. It's one of my favorite unupgraded decks now. I've been playing it in PvP1 and haven't lost once. It would work even better completely upped except for the novas (although those could be too...). The trident is optional and could be subbed for pretty much anything cheapish (which is why I'm calling it a trio deck). I'll definitely be making the upped version eventually.

Amazing deck, especially since we made it :P

It's really fun to ply and wins very frequently, with the stalling and QC of Discord combined with the speed of Graboids, it's a very fast and efficient deck.

Or something like that, anyway.

So fully upped would you go 6 nova or add in a supernova or two.  I'm gonna test this upped an unupped for my ttw study.  One of the coolest ideas I've seen in a long time.

I'd say try the upped version with only novas first, then try it with either two or three supernovas. Whichever you prefer.

Actually, fully upped, the novas are pointless (only for the flying weapons and trident) so i would actually replace them with towers

I belive the exact descriptive I used for the 2nd turn flying Discord+Trident was "f*cking ridiculous".

I'm testing it fully upped with 6 novas and it can win in five turns. Basically, depending on the draw, it's either fast or "slow." If it's slow, you'll probably have one or two discords out fairly early (turns 2-4). Your opponent will most likely only be able to play cheap cards, and if anything poses a threat, you BB it. So even if it takes ten turns to win, your opponent probably only has 1-3 small creatures out.

Actually, fully upped, the novas are pointless (only for the flying weapons and trident) so i would actually replace them with towers
Actually, the novas are also for graboids. Can't evolve them without time quanta.

I'm thinking that unupped animates might be better than the upped version... That way they don't take away quanta from water or time.

Actually i was thinking of because ur gonna replace novas with towers, you can change to mark of time

I'm testing the deck with your ideas and it seems to be a lot slower. Here's what it looks like:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6u5 6u5 6u5 6u5 778 778 778 778 778 778 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g 77l 77l 77l 77l 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n2 8ps

You don't get the boost to earth quanta from the novas, is basically why it's slower. It's also tougher to get out an early discord.
