I would hardly say that Arctic Squid is a humanoid. If anything, it's a cephalopod, which, last time I checked, is hardly human. On the other hand, Pharaoh is most definitely humanoid, and isn't included.

Well, it may technically be a cephalopod, but look at that picture -- it's totally got hands, feet, and even a cute little tentacle hairdo!

And thanks for the catch on Pharaoh. 8)

Even though cephalopods are some of my utmost favorite animals, I would have to say Arctic Squid is not humanoid as well.

As for the card, I really like it. It works around how weak cards like Blessing really can be because of the single usage.

Even if Paul is smarter than a human, squids are not humanoids.

How would this work with Immortal if you can't target Immortal?

. . . and who is Paul and how is he relevant to squids?

Aw, so the card doesn't recycle anymore? :( Was it due to collisions with missing draws, etc?

No, it was because of a silly technical detail of the competition that the card was entered in: only one new passive abililty relevant to the card.  I couldn't use the "humanoid" passive and the "salvage" passive on the same card and have it be relevant to the competition.

Though, all told, I think that this card is more balanced regardless. :)

What happens to the creature it's used on if the permanent is destroyed? does it lose the bonus?
