I was wondering 'why is there no nymph for the 'other' element', and created this awesome card.

NOTES:
This is the nymph for the 'other' element. The ability targets a card that is ALREADY PLAYED. It obviously cannot be used on cards in hand, since that would make this card exceptionally OP.

The Nymph's ability makes everything of the target card to 'other'. Therefore, the target's ability cost does not specifically require quanta of an element anymore. For instance, if a Forest Spirit is neutralized for three life quanta, it can use growth for 1 random quantum instead of 1 water quantum.

It may seem like a Shard of Readiness on a stick, but it's better in the sense that it can target ANY card, meaning it could be used on permanents as well. For example, a Neutralized Flooding/Inundation would work as long as it absorbs 3 random quanta every turn, instead of 3 water quanta.

Removing the element of the card is also useful in other situations. A neutralized monster would not be killed by Flooding/Inundation since 'other' cards are not affected. It could be used on a darkness or death creature to debuff the stat boost from Nightfall/Eclipse, or to avoid being a target of Holy Light.


Now for some clarifications:

- Using Fractal on a neutralized monster DOES NOT result in a handfull of 'other' cards.

- Neutralized Rustler / Leaf Dragon can use its ability only once per turn.

- Nymph's Tears used on a Quantum Pillar will NOT generate this nymph every single time. A nymph from the 13 nymphs is randomly chosen.

- If a creature is rewound after being neutralized, it goes back to its original status. Just think of lobotomize; does a rewound lobotomized creature not have its ability when it is played again?

As if we needed any MORE rare nymphs/cards to collect. :P

Although the idea seems fun, wouldn't that mean that you'd have to have some sort of 'alchemy' potion to go along with this? Every nymph is connected directly to the Alchemy Spell (Black Hole, Precognition, Liquid Shadow, Aflatoxin, etc.), but 'Other', by definition, would also require that same Alchemy potion for the Nymph to exist.

...but the problem is that the spell is derived from a shard (partially), and not to mention, the ability itself would be fairly overpowered if it was available to buy from the bazaar. It would remove the bonuses gained from Eclipse/Nightfall from any :darkness/ :death creature, allow cards that have been 'rewound' to be played with ease assuming they say 'Other', strengthen any form of rainbow since it only takes 1 and 1/2 rainbow towers to play the nymph itself and quint it, etc.

Rewound creatures will not be an 'other' card. It's like Lobotomize; a lobotomized charger has its momentum ability after being rewound.

The issues with rainbow... well there's no way to prevent it :(

As I said on chat, I like the idea, but I dont think this can pass as a nymph. Nymphs are tied to an element, and "other" is not an element.

The first statement is fine - the latter statement, not so much. At this point, this card literally screams "LOOK AT ME. I'M MORE COLORFUL THAN PRIDE WEEKEND IN SF", and we don't need to support rainbows so much. Shard of Readiness already took care of that... ^^;;

If I'm reading this correctly, then it makes all ability costs other.  E.G, it makes them 12 times easier to pay for.  This in a rainbow deck would cause far more damage than a life nymph in a life deck, or an aether nymph in an aether deck, and so on.

i do like the idea behind this card, but i doubt it'd be implemented. it doesnt have an alchemy behind it which breaks the theme of nymphs. also in this current version it needs to be waay more expensive...read casting cost of 9 and ability cost of 3 as 3 and 1, and cost of 3 for a 4/8 is overpowered in itself, not mentioning the crazy effect. it'd have to be a casting cost of 27 and ability cost of 9. if you up the costs like i said, it'd be OP but not insanely OP. maybe casting cost 30 and ability cost 12 is better

I intensely nerfed the card.

* Att/HP : 4|8, 4|9 ---> 1|1, 1|2

* Ability now uses the quanta of the target card's element, instead of random quanta.

* I'm not gonna change the cost of the nymph since all nymphs cost 9 quanta or something close to that.
