Rage Against the Machine
I wanted to test out Steam Machine (new card in development) and here's what I came up with.

It's a pretty simple deck. :water :fire duo based on synergy between Steam Machine and Rage Elixir. I also Took Fire Buckler and 2 x Explosion to make the deck a bit more well-rounded.

Strategy:
- Use Rage Elixir to either get rid of opponent creatures or buff your Machines.

This deck is by no means the most awesome deck ever but it's a good introductory deck for Steam Machine.

What I think about Steam Machine? Well, to me it seems a bit underpowered. Cost of 2 :fire is pretty high to pay each turn and guarantees that your Mark alone is not enough. Combined with the relatively high cost of Steam Machine, it's clear that 50/50 :fire :water duo is pretty much the only deck that can use this card effectively. One other option of course is to take more :water like shields and Congeal, and make a kind of stalling deck to you time to get those Machines bigger, but even then you need a lof of Fire Pillars because that steam is not cheap.

Best part about this deck is that I got to name it after my favorite band.

Steam Machine is currently only available in the Trainer (http://www.elementsthegame.com/trainer).

EDIT:

Here's another deck I made. Nothing amazing really but maybe it can some day become. I posted it here as a reminder.

The funny thing is, it used to cost one more :fire to activate and one more :water to cast, and it was reduced to it's current stats because I made those exact arguments to Zanz.  :)

That's still +4 damage for 2 fire quanta. If you have immolation or nova you can take care of that cost easily. Personally, I like having to rely on more than one or two cards to win. Overpowered cards make the game dull.

I actually tried out both of those decks (with slight variations), and although they were fun and worked, they were quite slow compared to other decks. I love this card, but I still can't find a fast and effective way to make it work. =/

Mono-water with SoR's. Congeals+shield+icebolt. Not positive on how fast it is, i'll eventually try it out.

I was trying to make decks WITHOUT SoR, since they are not readily available to everyone.

I was losing games to AI-3. I don't see Steam Machines as the core of a good deck. One or two might work in a rainbow as the equivalent of a Lava Destroyer. Use Unstoppable and Quintessence on it and then keep pumping it up.
