I can't think of a single card where it would be worth it to pay the ransom.

Well.... maybe a nymph.  But unless the card cost 20 quanta, it's a bad idea.

Your 30/23 lava destroyer Your 15/20 Otyguh Your mutant with steal

Basically any card that you know your opponent would need,  you kidnap it xD

It seems like a Darkness form of Neurotoxin to me. But, the idea behind it is interesting..

It makes me think of:

White Van | White Van

Nice Inconspicuous Man | Unregistered Sex Offender

Three questions:

1) Why the high quantum cost for gaining it back, yet low for trapping it?

2) Why plastic bag? I mean, it doesn't fit.

3) Why does the bag/sack come into play with poison? It's powerful enough without.

No, he means lack of a dictionary or ever reading a book.

Idea is hilarious and awesome and useful all at the same time. And it fits Darkness perfectly, so Bloodshadow can't QQ.

And it's actually better creature control than Siphon Life because it drains your opponents quanta if they decide to release it, and can kill anything for 4 quanta, where Siphon Life needs 11 quanta to be useful.

Either that or I could say the ransom wasn't paid on time, so the kidnappers got rid of the hostage. I think there's a common showing in movies that deal with people getting thrown into the ocean inside a burlap sack. Or maybe I'm thinking of the CSI cases I've watched and read.. :-\

More on the card: I think the cost should be raised if the creature dies within three turns if not paid for.

Well the thing is,  the creature dieing it is completely in the creatures owner's control, he/she decides whether if the creature is worth the 10/13 quantum. If not then it's their own fault, the cost is fine IMO as it is not an instant kill card and they have a couple turns to cough up the ransom. Also consider the fact that Shockwave kills most creatures for just 1  :air.

And yes I was thinking that the kidnappers "got rid" of the hostage when I thought of the card, although the lack of air for being trapped inside a plastic bag made me lol.

I still think it's too powerful for such a cost.  :-X Later in the game, when your opponent actually has a 30/30 Lava Destroyer or something.. they can pay for the cost with ease. So, I assume this card would reach the field earlier before such a predicament happens.

What happens when you kidnap a Burlap sack and put it into another Burlap Sack..? I am hoping the answer is not double asphyxiation.
