NOTES:
Anachron = "of the wrong time".  These are furturistic 'robot' warriors that got time-slipped and are trapped in their own distant past.  Their structures can't handle magic, so they fall apart if magic gets onto/into them, but they are made of a metallic substance that no creature of the game's innate timeframe is capable of harming.  (They can still be digested and Paradoxed, though. :) )

So they are immune to Sniper, RoF (since it doesn't 'target' them), Fire Buckler, Unstable Gas, and Thunderstorm?  Am I missing anything?

Yet, EVERY spell is an insta-kill?  Phase Recluse has comparable stats but only costs 4 to summon, yet this isn't any harder to kill.

How does this work with poison?  Are they immune from Plague/Spine Carpace/Infection?

Eh... its ability seems a touch on the situational side, really. But I like it simply because it's a mid-range attacker. We need more of these. With Gargoyle coming in, I feel as if other elements need them, too... :time would be a good place to start.

So, overall, mediocre ability but great as a normal attacking creature.

I like the idea of being immune to damage but getting killed by any spell. Very nice.

Btw.. both card images are upped ones.

Thanks for the catch, SG.

And yes, they are immune to Poison, as well.  I'll add that. :)

And yeah, Icy, you got it -- it's a blatant attempt to add a mid-sized attacker to Time.  It's also kind of a subtle way to encourage people to play Spells in addition to creature- and permanent-based control.

If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Yeah, should be white text for unupped. I like it. Simple and elegant. It has partial momentum and partial quintessence ^_^

My only concern is that it might be underpowered. There are just so many spells :\

Wait, I could play momentum or blessing on this creature to kill it? or Ls or liquid shadow or any other spell including reverse time? can't even quint it :-(

Eternity = ultimate counter. So it's basically a creature that can be instakilled by any mono deck with a spell?

Sweet way to buff the time deck.

Sorry bout the sarcasm, but I hope you see the ramifications of this card.

Rain of Fire targets all opposing creatures  and so does Thunderstorm.
Unstable gas Targets all Creatures.

I think the Card needs Chosen as the Target of a Spell (you actually clicking on him with the Target Reticle) rather than if targeted by a spell.

Also you'll find that Abilities on cards in play are spell effects. So Zanz would need to add a check there also but that is a secondary thing.

PS. Bleh at Watermarks.

Tea is Good: Eternity wouldn't kill an Anachron -- it's not a spell.  And many decks don't feature spells that target individual creatures (Kael Hate, I'd like to see evidence from you that "all enemy creatures" spells actually target individual enemy creatures), so it's not as vulnerable as it first seems.

That said, I'm not adverse to changing the wording as Kael Hate suggests, and yeah -- I don't like the watermarks either, but legally I have to keep them there unless I want to pay for the image.   Royalty Free doesn't mean Free, after all.

Burrow and Immaterial prevent Targeting. Rain of Fire does not hit them because of this. It is a quirk of the game that a lot of people think works differently because of experience with games like Magic.

I like it a lot, just not the upgraded version's name.  :) Time Ninjas seem kind of corny...

The watermark is alright, I guess. It looks a bit like a time warp dying, which goes with the theme of the card.

What sort of damage would this nullify?
Why is my avatar URL not recognized???
