NOTES: This introduces a new form on permanent control, and gives Air a good midrange and durable attacker, something you might be able to form an offense around.  I was considering making the ability random, as I wasn't sure whether the good attack plus this would make it a touch overpowered.  But I thought that 2 :air per turn to lock down one permanent wasn't bad.

If this targets a stack (such as pillars), only one pillar will be affected.

NVM didnt read the notes.

This is weak, a Pulverizer does the same thing for 2 gravity but the permanent is destroyed, making this a very specific and weak card.

Hmm, valid point.  However, this is mono-air, not a duo.  Would cutting the cost of the ability put it more in line?

Right now, the ability is incredibly weak. The cost should be 1 :air.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

Love the idea, love the card.

This game needs more soft control cards (like this and Freeze etc). IMO it is not that this card is weak, it is that Pulvy is just too strong. Hard control cards are just too powerful. I mean, couple of  :gravity to destroy something called permanent?

Soft control cards bring some strategy into the play, instead of mindless Explosions and Deflagrations, and this card is a step in right direction IMO.

I don't think the effect is that weak; Creatures are more preservable and duplicable in my view. It seems balanced to me.

After thinking and discussion, I'm not sure it's fair to compare this to Pulverizer.  For one, Pulverizer is a rare, (for certain definitions of rare), a weapon, and is duo.  This card can is mono, can have multiple copies without requiring Animate Weapon, and is vulnerable to an entire different set of control.  And as mentioned, Pulv is very powerful as is.  Obliterator can attest to that.  I'd like to hear some suggestions, with some solid reasoning behind them before I change anything..

Plus, it's pretty amazing to summon a creature that can continually render a shield or a weapon useless. When those aren't around, you can render the pillars and towers useless. I really like it, although, I'm not sure about the ability cost, I think it could go a bit cheaper.

Image updated: ability cost reduced by one in each form.  May also target friendly permanents.

One reason I found is to stop Graveyard from triggering if you don't want it to.  Particularly if there's a creature with devour on the other side.  Another option from the top of my head is to temporarily suspend Nightfall for one turn.  If either to kill an injured devourer/pest/vampire that was previously at 1 HP, or if the stat boost is helping them more than  you.

I'm sure there are other reasons if you think hard enough.

Yes, you can also save your dissipation shield and bone wall.  8)

All Good!
