Bloodshadow
NOTES:
Think of this as "freezing the battlefield itself". The creatures themselves are not frozen, but they act just like being frozen.
And to clarify, if a creature is summoned the third turn Ice Age was cast, it only stays in stasis for 1 more turn. This spell does not instantly freeze all creatures coming in play; it is simply a massive stasis.

Soft control cards are always welcomed in my book. Though high cost AND complete drain of quanta might be too much considering you're freezing your own creatures too.

Cost 12/10 then? It's basically complete lockdown of the field for 3 turns.

I can think of something really evil... Combining this spell with two of my other Advanced Spells, Singularity (drain all quanta) and Solidity (cannot play + draw cards)...  >:D >:D >:D

if you make one for each element i can almost 100% say Jmiz will make a deck using all of them, that will destroy.

also, this idea has been suggested dozens of times *see feild freeze* and kong. even i made one :P however these kinds of cards are always funny.

actually, i believe the contrary. if it wasnt your own creatures, it would be too OP, also if it was a normal set value of quanta needed like say 10 :water or more, it would be OP, however by sacrificing all  :water quanta, i think it's balanced, since this effect only affects the current creatures on the field, you could just summon more creatures after that ice age, question though, if u used ice age again to freeze another bunch of creatures while there is still some frozen, does it restart the counter for the other creatures aswell? if so then in my opinion its almost OP if it wasnt for the "All  :water " sacrifice bit  :)
awesome idea though, i like it  :P

Incorrect. This card freezes the field, not the creatures. This card is a massive 3-turn stasis that affects all creatures, even newly summoned ones. Read my notes.

In that sense, it makes this card quite different from Field Freeze. Killsdazombies, I think you've known me long enough to know what I'll say to your second comment.

also i dont thing freezeing the field is codeable? either way i would make it a permanent with a counter on it.

i reckon it is codeable, look at flood for instance,  if that's codeable than this should be okay  :)

This is a little...silly, I think.

I can play one of these every time it wears off in a dedicated water deck...and it doesn't prevent you from playing instant or  permanent spells so I can just mop you up with a Fire Bolt/Siphon Life or weapon.

I don't see how this is balancable, as per hara's comment.  It's a cool idea, but just too strong in a creatureless deck.
