I didn't knew one could induce a desync, if that's the case you have my support. But i disagree with "If one player cannot beat the opponent's AI, there is simply no way they could have won if a desync had not happened." because people can make some stupid mistakes sometimes and that's what makes games interesting in first place, to some people.

If you lose to the idiotic AI with a deck, there is almost no way you can win against an actual thinking player with the same deck and conditions.

I guess i can't argue with that. People that play this game are different from the others i've been into, now you made that very clear.

Rules updated with the post requirement lowered to 15. The reason is quite simple: we're now more experienced as a community at determining whether or not a new poster has their wits about them.

Rule 4.1a has been added, which basically says that all Marks are to be considered pillars. This means that mark cards are always allowed when pillars (not pendulums) are allowed. If marks will be banned, it will specifically say that they are (unless pillars are banned, though we'd most likely put it there anyways).

Rule 3.7 has been added as a procedure to prevent illegal decks to disrupt the tournament.

Rule 4.1a has been merged into 4.1.

"Cheating" has been relocated from 3.5 to 4.3, and other rules are relocated accordingly.

I approve of the new rule, although seems like a pain in the butt for everyone :P

Hopefully it's effective at catching malicious cheaters, however it's impossible to verify that the deck sent to you was the one played in the match, as you can't show it to the other player without ruining the tournament. Giving away opponents deckcodes is frowned upon even if you've already played them.

I don't think it's in anyones interest for people to get 0-2 losses because they used an illegal deck twice (except the opponent), and I do believe the fact getting a loss first game because of an illegal deck should give you the opportunity to correct your deck in the next game which it currently does if caught early. Would it be possible in the case where the same mistake was made twice in one match, and the result was like 2-0 or something, for some kind of replay starting at 0-1, or would that just not be possible in terms of how the event is run?
My default opinion of a new card is OP. Your job as a card creator will have to be to convince me otherwise.

I know this is probably a stupid question, but I'm still trying to learn how the forum works.  How do you PM your deck to someone?  Where do you go to find the option and what exactly should you send?

You input your deck code into the following tool:
http://elementscommunity.org/tools/deck/

Submit that, then copy the URL of the result into the PM window-tab for the TO inside chat.
That way s/he can simply click on the URL and see you deck graphically.

I have just starting looking through the weekly tournament rules and I find this one a little confusing:

Quote
(note that you need to enter with a nickname that matches your forum name).

My forum name is "legion_bre" but my in-game username is "dan dan"

So my question is - which do I use, and if they are required to be the same, how am I able to change my username so that it matches?

Thanks.
