Too situational, it would only be of use against poison decks, and they would probably congeal this card the minute it came out. Honestly, I would prefer purifies.

Advantages over Purify:

It's a creature, so it's useful for 3 or 5 damage even against non-poison decks.
It has purify ability, so you can remove poison multiple times with 1 card.

Personally, I would probably use this mount upgraded, since it has a high attack compared to the other mounts, is cheaper compared to other mounts, and almost guarantees a victory against poison decks, but that's just my take on it.

What changes should I make, other than changing the ability, that would make you want to use this card?

This card completely destroys all poison decks. Thus, it is overpowered. Any card that completely destroys an entire deck type is overpowered.

The above sentence is directly copied from something someone said to me once. I forgot whom, was it Jmizzle or SG?
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

I agree, I thought it was overpowered, but no one else said anything until you did.

Fortunately I had an idea to fix this card just a few moments ago.

Seahorse Ability
:water : Remove 1 poison from yourself.
Elite Seahorse Ability
:water : Remove 2 poison from yourself.

How about it being able to remove 1 or 2 poison from yourself or creatures?  :)

That is kind of correct. A card that single-handedly destroys only one deck type is what we call situational, not overpowered. However, a card that is prohibitive on a grand scale to the point that it completely changes the metagame to revolve around it is overpowered. Purify is pure Poison hate and pretty much can guarantee a win once cast against the poison player. But nobody in their right mind would ever call Purify overpowered. Why? Because apart from dominating Poison, it is a completely dead card in every other matchup. Because of this, one will almost never see someone play Purify when their opponent plays Poison, and a player will almost never use Poison twice in a row because of Purify. It is this catch-22 type scenario that Purify finds itself in that makes it impossible to play.

About this card... Seahorse, because it is a creature, is immediately much more playable than Purify. A rainbow deck might welcome this little guy because it could potentially shut down Scorpio and Morte's offensive completely once you get an SoG or two out, and it could be fodder for removal or mutated into something much more scarier. Because it could potentially see play in PvP even if the opponent does not play Poison, the Poison archetype would have even less appeal. If it is overpowered, it is only because it proactively prohibits the Poison archetype, compared to Purify, which prohibits reactively.

I like the idea of curing 1-2 poison. Make it from yourself or target creature and you have my vote. (Just like holy light, that can heal a creature or yourself.)

I agree with that. would make this almost needed in any water deck.
