Elements Triathlon Original Idea by Kuroaitou | Art by dlritterA Competition 'Series' split up into 3 parts: Screenshot achievements, Card-Designing prophecies, and a Chat Trivia, each rewarding points. Players are allowed to participate individually or in 3-man teams. Each competition awards 1 normal icon, and whichever team has the most points at the end wins the ultimate award! RULESDo you have what it takes to endure one of the toughest team competitions to date? Do you have the skill, creativity, and knowledge to master this triathlon? If so, then the first Elements Triathlon urges you to step on in!
- As the above state, the Triathlon is composed of 3 smaller competitions: a Screenshot stage, a Card Design stage, and a Chat Trivia, each testing a player's (or team's) skills, creativity, and knowledge in regards to Elements the Game. Players may choose to enter the competition alone as an individual competing in all 3 events, or join together in teams no bigger than 3 to split/spread/contribute to the team's work evenly.
- Note that in teams, only one 'participant' can be awarded the icon in a single event (assuming there are no ties between different teams, or players of the same team), but all players of the winning team will be rewarded the main Triathlon icon.
- Players that wish to sign up as a team must simply post on this topic stating their team name and the 2-3 players involved. ALL PLAYERS must state the exact players and team name for the team to be registered, to avoid interpersonal conflicts (avoiding confusion on who is on what team).
- There is a maximum of 3 players on your team.
- Once teams are settled, and the first competition begins,
all other players may only enter the Triathlon individually, players must notify me if they wish to make any other new teams OR add/remove players from their current team. - Within each competition, players are awarded 'points' based on different criteria:
- For the Screenshot stage, players are awarded points not only for fulfilling the challenges in hand, but also for whether they did it first, second, etc., as well as for the difficulty of the achievement at hand
- For the Card-designing stage, players must design three cards that are identical to three mystery cards that the CO has designed beforehand; the more accurate the cards, the more points the team will gain, but teams are also allowed to ask questions (by spending points from the Screenshot Stage) in order to get a better picture of what the card(s) are
- Finally, in the Chat Trivia stage, points are awarded on the first guess, first reward basis, with increasing point costs towards the end of the trivia
- Specific rules for each stage will be posted in their own competition topic. This page will display teams and score rankings for the three competitions, and award the best player/team of players with a wonderful icon!
