Phase 3 - Community Vote

Phase ends when above poll expires.

It's time to vote for your favorite Master candidate!  Every community member has one vote. You can change your vote at any time as long as there is still time on the clock.

Vote based on who you think would make the best Master of that element. Do not vote based on who is the best player or who you know personally. Try to pick someone who you think would help the community the most.  Feel free to ask the candidates difficult questions to help you make your decision.

ji: I attempted to run for Aether once, in Trials 2, but had to bail as my score fell below the requirements at the time because of too much False God grinding. Shortly afterwards, I rediscovered my love for Water and it has stayed in my heart ever since, as supported by my participation in Trials 4 under Water.

Are there elements you do not like, majofa?

to all candidates: create an original yet effective deck based on Flooding and having at least 3 copies of it (SoP isn't allowed).

Raving: If we were in this situation as is, with the only change being you retaining your position as master of water instead of surrendering it, I would still prefer our current state to play another challenger. Consider that I'd already played them in Phase 2, so I know a bit about their tactics, they know a bit of mine, and there's a rematch in line that's sure to be interesting. Also, if I lost in Phase 2, there's a feeling of vengeance, which I really enjoy.


Artha: I have always seen a flooding/antimatter stall, using diss or permafrost shield to block in certain cases, and chaos seed as a moderate CC, supported by cards such as purify or arctic squid, to be a viable enough stall in certain environments. However, I don't really consider it for trials, because you're likely playing water creatures.

However, while this deck isn't really popular, it isn't original either, so I guess your prompt isn't really answered yet :3

I pondered on a deck like this exclusively for Phase 2, but decided against it for the reason above. I haven't even tested it yet, so it's quanta balance is rough and probably unwieldly, but it might be a start.
