The Frogtal from Hell [Life][Aether][PvP][Fun] https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=42249.msg525630#msg525630

I've never officially decided on a name for this deck, so don't be surprised if it's referred to something else either in a future or past post by myself.  This is a variant of what I consider to be both my favorite and signature deck for the simple reason that you can spam ALL the Frogs you possibly can at your opponent's face.  I felt the need to post this deck as sort of a tribute to what it did for Team Life during War #5, as it single handedly allowed us to stay alive for 3 (4 if you include the round we were eliminated in though it lost) full rounds after our team had suffered a massive series of losses during a single round.  Ultimately, it kept our spirits high even when we knew our chances of victory were low.

Now, Frogtal is by no means a new idea, it's a basic deck concept which has been around for years.  But I will say that this variant in particular is both more competitive and more versatile than the original build based on the cards that the deck is capable of utilizing.  While the above variant uses Dim Shields and Silences, this is by no means a requirement for the deck to function properly.  In addition to Dim Shields and Silences, the deck can also work very well using Lightnings and Lobotomizers in any combination that you desire.  If nothing else, the Frogs must be upgraded as otherwise your damage output will be very slow and insignificant in comparison.

Spoiler for In depth deck discussion:
The objective of what the deck must do in order to win will vary based on both the opponent you're facing and the variant you're running.  It can work just as well with a 31-33 card variation from what I have observed, though be wary of not drawing what you need when you need it.  The Silence variant(s) is the one I consider to be the most potent because it is the only version that is capable of stopping opposing Dim Shield chains (assuming we live in a beautiful world where SoFo doesn't exist) and can also completely negate CC spells during the turn that it's played.  Just imagine a scenario where you want to Fractal your Frogs but highly suspect they will get wiped out by the opponent's Rain of Fire (or something similar) next turn.  Well, just play a Silence before you Fractal and then you won't need to worry about a thing.  Furthermore, if you time your Silences right then you should be able to play another Silence AFTER you Fractal for complete, nigh unstoppable devastation.  I usually find it's a good idea to hold back on playing at least one Frog from my hand just in case the opponent has a random bit of CC to throw my way.  That way I don't have to worry about drawing another Frog before I can begin my Fractal assault.
Spoiler for More info on card selections:
Silence - Dim Shield chain breaker, CC prevention,  and can also prevent the opponent from creature spamming you to death if you run out of Dim Shields or Lightnings to play.  Completely negated by Sanctuary.

Lightning - Counters opposing rushes and some troublesome creatures such as Otyugh and Maxwell's Demon.  Can also be used for extra damage against the opponent directly if needed.  Dirt cheap as a bonus.

Dimensional Shields - Speaks for itself really.  It's a high risk to use if the opponent is packing PC, but otherwise it's a complete menace for many decks to face.  It completely blocks most rushing creatures, prevents Discord from screwing up your quanta situation, and can also be used simply to stall for time as you prepare to spam Frogs like mad during the upcoming turns.

Lobotomizer - This card can be underrated for use by Fractal decks such as this, but it can be extremely useful in the right situation.  This card is capable of eliminating the threat of all troublesome creatures this deck would normally hate facing such as Otyugh, Maxwell's Demon, Arctic Squid, Pharaoh, etc.  It's also quite useful when used alongside Dim Shield as it can remove the threat of Momentum'd creatures.  Lightning can perform a similar function, but is a one time use when you may need it more times than you currently carry.  As an added bonus, its damage allows it to act like another Frog.
The above variant of this Frogtal is one that I would consider to be pretty well rounded, but there are several different ways that you can modify the deck to meet whatever needs you may have.  There are a few requirements that it must contain in order to function well, though.
-6 Giant Frog.  You CAN use Horned Frogs, but expect to run into quite a few problems as a result.
-4 Fractal.  This isn't so much of a requirement as highly recommended.
-12 to 14 LIFE Pends.  Do not use Aether Pends for this deck, even if they are upgraded.  You can afford to get by with 12 and you'll get a more diverse card pool by doing so, but I find that having at least 13 seems to give hands starting with 2 or more Pends more often.  Going above 14 usually results in cutting back on Aether cards that you may need in order to survive against your opponent.  Upgrading Pends allows 12 to become slightly more feasible.

For additional examples of how modifying this deck works, view the decks below:

This version was used at the very beginning of War.  Its basic aim was to counter rushes while crushing stalls using Silences, and it succeeded at that very well.

This was another version used later on in War.  Adrenaline was used as a filler card, but allows for additional rushing ability.  3 Fractals instead of 4 only because we were not able to use 4 at the time.  Everything aside from Frogs can be unupgraded.

Another take on the first deck used in War, odd cards/card copies exist for the same reason as the deck above.

And now for the final version which managed to win its match-up during War 5.  This is an example of what the deck looks like when you're expecting several different strategies to appear before you; while it has a wide range of card coverage, the draw chance of certain cards is clearly limited.

Lastly, a fully upgraded variant which I had posted a long time ago known as "Muted Frogtal".  It's a basic example of a version aimed at destroying decks which rely heavily on Dim Shield.

This deck performs notably better in PvP when the PvP is restricted and not a case of anything goes since you can better predict the decks you'll face to determine the cards you'll need to use in your deck.  However, from my experience in team PvP events, I have received many comments from my teammates regarding how much of an enjoyable deck these are to play.  And I certainly agree; these decks in nearly any of their forms are fun to use, tactical to play, and dangerous to face.

Had this variant lying around while preparing for 4th Trials:

(Had only 23 upgrades to work with during the Final Battle, but whatever)

Spoiler for Backstory:
I made the huge mistake of not banning Dim Shield when Higs banned Dim Shield (way to lose at the banning stage of the Final Battle twice, Pika) and this was one of the few decks that could actually fend off a standard mono-Aether without using any of the standard permanent control cards at all.

Timing the quanta generation to be able to continue to cast Silence the turn after Fractal is a surprisingly precise art.
