Seeing as you could actually play Reflective / Mirror Shield for a better effect, this card really doesn't add much, in my opinion.
Reflective doesn't reduce damage, Mirror Shield only reduce 1. This allows Titanium Shield to also reflect spells while reducing damage, for example. Should definitely more expensive than Reflective | Mirror Shield, though.
i may be wrong, but the reason the shields with spell reflect are immune to being destroyed or stolen is because they reflect spells, and it doesnt make sense for a spell reflecting object to be a valid target of a spell. could be wrong, though.
i like the idea, it makes sense, but the cost should be increased and should be unable to be destroyed or stolen, too.
Yes, that could be a thematic justification for reflective shields.
My justification: since this is just a coating, it is not perfect. As such, it can't block damage targeted to itself (Deflag and Steal). Also will shatter under pressure more easily compared to Emerald Shield (Pulvy).
Mechanic justification: as to not be redundant to EA, i decided not to give immateriality. Otherwise, the cost could be as high as 5/6
.
What's the ideal cost for this? Will 4
