Cute idea, but it is usable in rainbow decks only... 

It isn't for rainbow decks only, that's why I added the clause of non-zero.  This way, its actually good in duo/trio/quartet decks because unlike Quantum Tower, it will only increase pools you use.

Suppose you have 2 and 3 of all others.
Will three Small Pillars give you 3 Æther or 1 æther and two distinct random quanta?

depends on how the code for pillar stacks is written, whether they still trigger one at a time or all at once.  i dont see a need to put a special case to make this work differently from regular pillars.

I'm not positive but I think that the way the game is coded, pillars currently trigger all at once (I could be wrong).  If so, I don't think small pillar/tower should be any different.  In the aforementioned case, 2  should go to 5  .
