NOTES:
Gaze is Active.
Ability is not activated by mass CC or shields. Since I don't know if drawing counts as targeting the top card, using Mindgate or Golden Hourglass and drawing this card does not activate it from your hand. Any permanents that may target a single card besides weapons are not affected by the ability.
By Petrify, it means the creature is afflicted with Basilisk Blood.
Attacking it after it has been targeted with Gravity Pull will also inflict Basilisk Blood on the creatures.
When a player targets Basilisk with a spell, they add 20 HP to their total HP but are Silenced for six turns.
If targeted with a weapon, the weapon is delayed for 3 turns.

BB this + grav pull, and all your opponents creatures are delayed for six turns, which is more than enough time to set up for a win. imo OP

I agree with AnimationX. What do you think about adding a chance to be petrified? 50% or something?

You won't be allowed to set up since you will be silenced for six turns for casting Gravity Pull on the Basilisk.
I realize that this may be OP, but I can always work down from there.

Ah forgot about that. You can still use this to delay your opponents creatures while your own kill off your opponent.

Well, you still have to worry about being Silenced. I mean, you can try to bypass it with Sanctuary, but unless it's in your opponents deck, you'd be running a trio.

But that's assuming that the Basilisk doesn't die.

BB it with a auburn nymph or something. Also, gravity pulls can be powered by a mark, so the trio wouldn't be to hard to stabilize.

Well, you'll still be stalling yourself as opposed to taking advantage of a stalled opponent.

How would this interact with mirror or emerald shields? I think those should protect the wielder and reflect the petrify back at the basilisk... that worked for Perseus after all.
The gravity pull combo would backfire quite spectacularly if the opponent brings out voodoo dolls while holding mirror shield

I thought Reflection only countered spells. Regardless, Jade and Mirror would not divert the silence caused by Basilisk's effect.
