Hey that's a very good idea actually, maybe a little UP though, you should add +2/+2 when he gets damage or give him mor defense.

hydra has been done before (i believe it is in level 2 or 3)

also, do not take art from unknown sources, make sure it is either public domain art, creative commons art (but sometimes this requires it not be edited), or that you have permission from the artist. just a heads up.

Just as clarification, did you intend for the +2/+0 to be for each point of damage the hydra takes, or each packet of damage?  For example, if Hydra is hit with Firestorm for 3 damage at once, does it get +2/+0 or +6/+0?  Even if it's the second one, I think this is probably underpowered, particularly for a 7 cost.  A hydra also feels to me more like a fire card or perhaps earth or life; hydras aren't usually sea monsters, though of course there's no reason why they couldn't be in a fantasy world!

Hydra has indeed been done before, so name it something different. The concept of turning 1hp into 2atk seems really familiar. This would be pretty good with acceleration. Anyways, -1 to summoning cost.

Well, the idea is that using Water and Earth together would give new deck ideas. It would give the second one. So if you plate armored the unupgraded Hydra it would gain 6|0 more attack. This is the first of my ideas so it is a little rough.

Also, there is a typo on the upgraded card. The stats should say 2|6.
