WAR 4 ROUND 7

News War continues! Deckbuilding Phase      Battle phase has started! Teams have to build decks for all players who are fighting during this round. Decks are to be added to the Vault Google doc. Team Strategist works with the doc but all team members participate in the planning. Please do not post your decks in public or talk about them in chat. All decks must be made ready before the timer goes to zero, after which editing deck post is strictly forbidden. Failure to have all the decks ready will lead to a severe card penalty, and/or automatic losses. It is highly recommended that all team members double-check their decks before the duels start. Battle Phase      Round has ended Battle phase starts when Deckbuilding phase ends. PM your opponent and try to find a time that suits you both. Time Zone Converter (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html) might be useful here. If you cannot find a time when you are both are online, please contact Warmasters (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=2694,3167) kevkev60614 and/or ddevans96 immediately. If the match doesn't happen you both lose by default unless one of you is clearly more active and/or flexible. Duels are "best-of-five", you must use the deck and mark built during the previous phase, and you cannot make any changes to your deck or mark during the round. Please make sure you record your duels correctly as follows: (Aether) Lt. playername 3 - (Air) (Sub) Gen. playername 0 Event Card There's something to be said for choosing to fight an enemy head on, for taking up arms and rushing headlong into battle rather than hiding behind walls and stalling until your opponent loses the will to continue fighting.  But one must be careful to keep one's priorities straight when everything else is in a state of upheaval.  Honor and courage are noble traits, but when this War ends there will be nobody left to pin medals to dead nobility. Better to keep our sweet victory and the lives of our soldiers at the forefront of priorities.  A little subterfuge may be called for in these most desperate of times.  As all great military leaders have learned, he who knows the artifice of diversion will be victorious.  Generals must PM the Warmasters which matchup number they're swapping to and from, according to the table on the right.Swapping is not mandatory and is limited to one per team. Swapping may allow two teams to play each other twice. Teams may not swap a match where the result would be playing themselves. Rule 7.2 is more lenient for this round.  Players are free to discuss with other teams about the event card. Sharing knowledge about vault contents is still forbidden.Swapping will not effect War betting.  If you bet A will beat B, but C swaps with A and D swaps with B, you're now betting C will beat D.[/list]

EDIT: Erm, how do I have a match this round. Not that I'm complaining or anything, but we ( )only have 6 matches this round and I'm listed as #8 in the roles.

That's not very unlikely when you are still fielding 8 decks this late in War.

R7 already and no one's been knocked out so far.

Of course, with multiple teams on the win-or-go-home edge, it's quite unlikely that that trend will continue, but with RNG on the run, you never know. This event card will probably play a lot of havoc as well, so it should be quite an interesting round.
