Deckbuilding Phase      Battle phase has started!
Teams have to build decks for all players who are fighting during this round. Decks are to be added to the Vault Google doc. Team Strategist works with the doc but all team members participate in the planning. Please do not post your decks in public or talk about them in chat.

All decks must be made ready before the timer goes to zero, after which editing deck post is strictly forbidden. Failure to have all the decks ready will lead to a severe card penalty, and/or automatic losses. It is highly recommended that all team members double-check their decks before the duels start.


Battle Phase      Round has ended
Battle phase starts when Deckbuilding phase ends.

PM your opponent and try to find a time that suits you both. Time Zone Converter (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html) might be useful here. If you cannot find a time when you are both are online, please contact Warmasters (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=2694,3167) kevkev60614 and/or ddevans96 immediately. If the match doesn't happen you both lose by default unless one of you is clearly more active and/or flexible.

Duels are "best-of-five", you must use the deck and mark built during the previous phase, and you cannot make any changes to your deck or mark during the round.

Please make sure you record your duels correctly as follows:

Event Card
Despite very different personalities and starting situations, War seems to have driven very different teams into similar situations.

Here we have two opportunities to build to our supply lines and hence our power, but time to pursue only one. 

Our Eastern neighbors tell legends of enchanted weapons, long hidden from the world.  Efforts to find and retrieve this resource began before War and finally... progress.

Our bordering neighbors to the West offer improved defenses for our soldiers, and training to boot. 

Being a leader in War means having to make difficult decisions, it seems...


Teams must secretly choose one of the following Event Cards and PM their choice to the Warmasters. All choices will be made public when the Battle Phase begins. Card that the team chose, applies to all the members of that team. The card they did not choose, has no effect on that team.

I guess it'd be nice to clarify it's the card shield, and not any shield, also how would it work in case the teams do have such cards in vault?
