How does the AI decide which artifact to enchant? Why does it seem smart by not using the EA until it puts down a valuable permanent?

Damage

First it loops through all enemy creatures. If the creature is not frozen or delayed it performs the following actions:

1. If creature ATK is higher than shield's damage reduction, add that creature's ATK to expected damage then subtract shield damage reduction.

2. Add the creature's attack to a 'raw damage' variable (in case the creature has momentum, I assume).

The process is repeated for player creatures except no raw damage variable is kept. Poison and weapon damage is added.

The AI reacts differently based on its expected damage; for example, things like Miracle and Phase Shield/Wings depend on its expected damage.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Are you sure that that's always the case?
IIRC (Xenocidius can verify or refute) the AI will make a random decision where it is more likely to play the creature the more quanta it has.

OldTrees is correct. The only case where it will 'burst play' creatures is with Nightmare, as I mentioned before.

The deck is stored as an array. (Predetermined before the match)

Slightly off topic, but I didn't want to create a new topic for this.
I was about to go to sleep, and suddenly became curious about the [deck] code. I've recently studied all these different types of codes, but haven't really done much application with it, in places like forums.

It seems pretty obvious that they were made by you people, but how? (if you don't mind, and if its not too long..) Can it be used in other forums if wished? Is it a long process of saving each card in the database, giving it a code name, and making sure that they come out as they would in-game?
