I suggest to throw out all the cards exept the aether cards and some quantum pillars. By doing this you will have a smaller and more solid deck.

First, remove the last card in your deck image. That's your mark card. In addition, in your post, where it says MARK=Something, put LIFE where 'something' is. If you're going for half rainbow half aether/mindgate, you have the beginnings of a good deck in either but not both.

Go either fully with the 'mindgate/qp rainbow' or with the 'duo aether/life' deck setup. Having both, especially without time to speed things up, makes your deck awkward and dependent on luck for a good draw.
Suggestion 1:
-3 lightnings
-Parallel universe
-6 aether pillars
-6 dimmensional shield
Replace them with 6x silence and some, 2-4 precognitions. Silence slows down your opponent while precogs speed up your deck.
The Lightnings are good for cc, but they're not as effective if your main goal is to use the mindgate.
The PU is taking up space. While it can be useful, if it is that important to your strategy you should have more than 1 of it. The Dim shields are great for stalling, but they take too much space if you're going for a rainbow. Besides, if you're using 6 heals, a sanctuary, a vampire dagger, and jade staff, you should have enough healing. As you're using less aether quanta, you won't need as many pillars.

Remove everything not from life or aether.
Remove the mindgates.
Add in 3-4 adrenalines, 4-6  forest scorpions, 3-4 quintessences.
Replace 1/3 or 1/2 your aether pillars for aether pendulums, as you need more life and less aether.

This is what I use sometimes to fight AI4 ( old AI5 ). Not sure if it can work not upgraded.
Code: [Select]
6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 77m 7dl 7dm 7k6 7q8 7ri 7th 808 808 808 80j 80j 80j 80j 80j 80j
Nightmare/Rewind/Mindgates combo is so great. You get to mindgate any creature the opponent has for 2 turns.

but this needs some adjustment also.
Problem with this is that you cant really play anything you mindgate unless its aether.
This is what I use sometimes to fight AI4 ( old AI5 ). Not sure if it can work not upgraded.

Nightmare/Rewind/Mindgates combo is so great. You get to mindgate any creature the opponent has for 2 turns.
The combo is great, but unupped you'll probably get steamrolled before setting it up- too much efficiency is lost unupped.

This is definitive my Mindgate's deck. It work very well, with an hight rate of EM in Ai5

Code: [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 5f6 5lc 5lc 5lm 5lm 5lm 5rp 5rp 5rp 5up 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61q 61q 61r 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 623 623 623 623 623 6qq 7al 7k6 7tb 80a
Strategy:     Have tu play as soon as possible more Mindgate that you can.  Lighting, steal, destruction slow the HB deck, sanctuary, stiletto, staff, keep you alive. With so many cards you can win 'cause opponent finish his cards. Dimensional shields are the base of the victory, you have to use them with patience and mentality. But first of all, you have to know the opponent decks.    For example:   Entropy's decks have butterfly effect, and you have to preserve the lightinins for kill this.

If you can put on two mindgate in first 6/8 turns you can win quite easily, but only playing with intelligence strategy.

On AI5? I really doubt that...

Halfbloods, right? That distinction is going to be really really confusing for a while.

To me, to improve you're deck, you need to trim it, especially aether cards since you won't need much aether pillars after the mindgate is set baring  luck with an opponent who also plays aether.

I wouldnt play any weapons in it, the reason being you will almost certainly get a weapon from mindgating you're opponent.

Also, Holy light are not that useful, if you wish to heal more then with the sanctuaries, use heal or shard of gratitude (if you have any).  You might wanna do that since I removeed the two healing weapons

Parallel universe shouldn't be needed, because once you have mindgate on the field, you will draw the cool crreatures anyway!

Be sure to use the lightnings on a creature that will hurt you even if you have you're shield on later (chrysaora, Charger, any creatue with 5hp or less that receive momentum)

It could be a deck like this one ....
Code: [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 5c2 5f6 5lm 5lm 5lm 5rp 5rp 5rp 5up 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61q 61q 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 623 623 623 623 6qq 7k6 80a

4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c2 5f6 5f6 5ia 5ia 5lm 5up 5up 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61q 61q 61q 61r 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 623 623 623 623 623 6qq 7al 7tbI find with Mindgate decks you keep it mono-aether with a few pendulums so as to make sure you draw what you need and also when you use mindgate if the decks rely on the mark to power some cards you are able to play them. So take out all those cards that arent aether and take out quantam pillars to you only have 4 left in the deck. Now put in 1 more mindgate, and also put in 6 parallel universe's. The point of the parallel universe's is to copy the cards that the opponent has already played that are also useful to you. Take out aether pillars until you only have 9 as well and add in 2 lobotomizers.

The deck should look something like this:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61r 61r 61r 61r 61r 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61u 61u 623 623 623 623 623 623 8pu

Way to play it:
play your pillars as they come to your hand and try to get as much aether quanta as possible early on, your first priority to get out are your mindgates as they are the way to defeat your opponent by using their cards against them, use the dimensional shields to help stall as you draw your opponents cards and use the lobotomizers to take out momentumed creatures. Of course this deck would work much better with an upped version so if you have the upped cards switch out the unupped ones and put in the upped ones. I hope this helps.
