Aether loses! Aether loses! Aether loses!
Okay back to reality. GG's Pika, i didn't think this deck would beat pestal but i guess it can. =)
Round 1 - Pika made a tactical error in this one. He played 2 pends at the beginning when i had 2 earth quanta, oddly the next turn after i had 9 earth quanta Pika decided to play 4 more pends. This ended up in a beautiful double whammy EQ wiping out his pends. It took him quite a while to get the quanta to fractal (he played an eclipse in the interim and i played a skull shield). Skull actually gave dev's additional damage when turned to skellies but at least no quanta sucking. Anyhow i ended up decking him and never playing my arsenic because of fear of steal. He ended up stealing my skull which i replaced with a titanium shield (which completely shut him down).
Round 2 - Because i knew i had last game in hand i never played my plagues so was hiding them for this match. He played an early vampire but not much else. So i played my Titanium to block him, EQ'd pends when he had 2, got my titanium stolen so i played another one. That one got stolen as well. Took me a long time to find my skull and managed to kill off a bunch of his creatures with plagues. What almost killed me was he managed to find a pend a turn before all his vamps were to die to get his aether to 10 so he could fractal them. Anyhow in the end i managed to just barely deck him out. 1 more turn might have killed me.
GG's Pika, Much needed win for us and pretty much irrelevant to team Aether.
