Elements 1.18 Patch Notes:

17 new cards (in the new version but NOT available yet):
- The 12 Nymphs
- Basilisk's blood
- Black hole
- Unstable Gas
- Nymph's tears
- Precognition

Balance:
- Immortal creatures are effected by all the shield effects (freeze and delay as well)
- Increased HP's for immortals and morning glory

Interface:
- New icons system, it might be glitchy at first, but it should perform much better than the old one on the long run.

Bug fixed:
- Spark/mutation now works properly
- Gravity pull works properly in pvp
- Hourglass does not work if you already have 8 cards OR you are already drawing a card (the skill cost is not refounded)
- A new system for preventing fast-clicking added (maybe this one will work)
- Fast-clicking in deck building/bazaar should not cause card/graphics errors anymore

Brilliant work as usual Zanz.
And I have to say some of these fixes made me quite happy.

The new cards are going to be available when 1.18 goes live, otherwise you could win the new cards in the beta and use those against v.1.17 players.

If there are not too many bugs to be fixed it should happen soon (days).

In the beta, you now have to wait a short time after every click. I, for one, do NOT like that. I've gotten enough practice at switching between decks it's now automatic for me. I don't care about the graphics, and I'm sure many vets feel the same way.

For instance, with my time/aether/earth, I start by clicking 16 times on the time tower stack, then 3 times on the elite anubis stack, then 4 times on the electrum hourglass stack, then finally 5 times on the eternity stack. Then I switch to earth and click on quicksand 6 times, then to air and click on animate weapon 4 times. Sure, after I'm done, the graphics for my deck are all screwy, but I don't care, because I know I clicked correctly.

This fix ends up doubling-tripling the time I need to change decks. I propose there be an option to enforce the delay between clicks; that way those who get aggravated by the graphic bug can be satisfied as well as we who don't mind it.

I agree with PuppyChow. This makes changing decks so much slower. I was never too fussed about the graphical error in the first place. One could always mouse-over the cards to see the real cards.

I would think the previous process of making a deck and then going back out and in to check if it is right takes a similar amount of time than the current delayed system. I don't really see any gain happening. Perhaps the delay could be tweaked?

In that case, I have to retract (is that a word?) my previous comment.

I build decks by clicking like crazy. Graphics go borked, but I just build the deck blind. When it's done, I go to Bazar and back to check if I made any mistakes.

It's an inconvenient system but at least it's relatively fast. If this new system means building a deck takes longer, then it doesn't sound all that great.

I agree with SG and puppy, and I think it wouldn't even be too hard for Zanz to implement this as an "option" for less experienced players to use.
