With the recent gaining popularity of different card style designs, I think it would be very interesting if players were given an option to choose what kind of design style they wanted their cards to look like when playing. This would especially look cool in PvP when two different cards styles compete against each other, as well as possibly making events more thematic (e.g. Team members could use different card styles to denote the team they are on.).

What do you guys think?

I don't know too much about the coding, but I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to substitute card templates for others if they are the exact same size as the current ones.

Make it a reward. Be it an oracle spin or buying it at the bazaar. That would make it more popular and people could 'customize' their metagame just how they like it.

awesome idea. it would generate a greater sense of individuality and give rise to trademarking your own decks.

You forget one thing. Really.. really... bad pictures on them if you catch my drift. Would either cause for people that do not seek this to go mass report and or complain .... or they leave. ^-^

"Bad" pictures? No, I'm talking about 4 or 5 appropriate designs premade by guys like vrt in the Card Border Redesign Competition  (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,20788.0.html) and encoded in the game as alternate card templates.

This would be really interesting and enjoyable

Next we'll be talking about different ways to change the field art. Wait, that's not too bad of an idea ::)
