It can be overcome by attack growing skills.

To be fair though, especially thematically, if the creature is basically being hardened/stiffened into wood (please no jokes), I think it should increase the creature's health by just as much each turn.  Perhaps?

I learned a new word today!
It seems good, but my question is: IS the attack rounded up or down?
and it might just be me, but i think the cost should be 3 | 1

Also this card is money on a bunch of creatures.

I mean once the attack reaches 0, it still continues to gain hp right?

Think of how awesome this would be on many many cards with ability. Rustler, Devourer, Parasite etc would get a huge buff from this.

How about for a drawback the attack goes negative, like antimatter

I suggest a wording change...Target creature gains the status Lignify. Each turn the creature's current attack is reduced by 25% and gains 1hp. Maybe it was just me, but how I read it at first was the 25% reduction was only 1 turn, while the growth was continuous. Just small and probably is just me though, so feel free to ignore lol

How about not.

That give you antimatter for 1 ....



But possibly some solution like once its attack reaches zero the spell ends.
