- Heal is #15 in the unupgraded usage statistics - #7 if you discount pillars. Very high power level.
 > Heal is #17 in the unupgraded usage statistics - #8 if you discount pillars.

- Improved Heal is #49 in the upgraded usage statistics. This is most likely due to Shard of Gratitude replacing it in many decks.  Medium-high power level.
 > Improved Heal is #34 in the upgraded usage statistics.

Remember, it's heal yourself for 20 now, not 10, which makes this card very worth is to include in your deck if you can.

It's useful to put one of these in a AI3 fast deck with mark of life (for example, adrenaline ones). If you can get this soon, as fast decks can beat the AI3 without having been dealt much damage, you can usually get a nice fast elemental mastery. Don't put more than one though.

Heal is actually pretty good. I do not see a problem with putting in 2 or 3. If you cant get shards this is the next best thing.
I decided to "drop" back in

A great spot holder and time waster, indeed. A lot of the times, however, overshadowed by Empathetic bond.

Definately a very good card but only useful when you dont have many creatures in your field. Otherwise empathetic bond is much better =D

I have 2 shards of divinity and 6 shards of gratitude (but only 4 are upgraded), and yet, I often use this card unupgraded in preferance to shards.  Reason?  heal is great for masteries while shards arn't.
As for empathetic/feral bonds, if you can kill your opponent in 4 turns (ok that is best case scenario, but still), you don't have the time or quanta for a slow card like bonds to pay off.  (although in a rainbow a bond does increase the mastery rate significantly)

This card is the ultimate mono-grass speed mastery deck heal, and mine packs 4 of these, having replaced both shards of divinity and jade staff because of thier much better rate of mastery.

this card heals 20 hp, this improvement is awesome,
unfortunately empbond is overtaken as the best heal card for its use in mono decks but this is a really good deck as a last minute heal for EM or just to live another round.

Empathic bond can only work if there are many creatures in field, this card is more awesome cost wise and for it's superior function in ensuring EM.

I ahte facing this card in AI3's. It just pisses me off that the stupid AI can't resign itself to its ensuing loss and must waste my time by playing Heal cards. It is a ncie card though, but no space in a Pillarless Rush and/or Mono-Dark/Aether deck.

I updated the first entry on this card with a lot more information.

Please vote in the poll to tell me if you like the old entry better or the current (new) one.

Before I continue and update the rest of the cards, I want to make sure people approve.
