IDEA: Dramore
NOTES: While I think this concept is fairly simple,(After all I can
see it in my head and understand what I'm tring to do.)
I can almost say for sure not everyone will.
This card is made to block any ability that a creature has
that has a cost attached to triggering it.
I.E.  Maxwell's Demon's  "Paradox" ability.
:entropy :entropy :Paradox
Kills the target creature if its attack is higher than its defence

I.E. Rustler / Leaf Dragon's  "Photosynthesis"
:light :Photosynthesis
Gain :life :life . This skill can be used multiple times per turn.

These are not the only creatures that are blocked the above are just examples.


Other active abilities of creatures are not affected.
Like  Vulture / Condor's "Scavenger"
Scavenger: Every time a creature, Vulture gains +1/+1
Also no passive skill / ability is affected by the effect of this card.

I was thinking that it might be a little to cheap.  After all this will go a long way in a stall deck. As most decks depend on the triggered abilities of creatures and permanents this shuts down 1/2 that make up. It's kinda like a statis field but the creatures can still attack, be sacrificed, or any other thing under the sun. The concept does not go as far as removing the ability(which can be (in some terms) thought of as more powerful than this.). However it does do a blanket effect stopping a lot of decks cold.  With this in mind I think it's gonna be a little harder to balance than it frist seems.

1. Cost : Higher cost for greater effect/time delay.
   a. Effects all creatures in play. (includeing the controlers)
   b. Olny last for X number of turns.
2. Turn limit : Just how long would be to long for a single permanent to stop as many actions as this one could do.

3. Wording of effect/card.

4. Element of card.
   a. I chose Time because it seemed to fit in with the delay concept of the element. However Time already has Sundial with the statis effect.


I have a problem with the name. (seems to bland to me but wasn't sure what else to call it.)

What about Perception Warper? It warps the creatures perception of time and makes it unable to use abilities.
Upped's cost should remain 6  :time due to the upgrade bonus.

Frist off thanks for the help from everyone that come up with a name. They still don't ""feel"" right yet tho. (my name for it most of all) and thank for the added feedback on cost.

Aside from the fact that I don't like the current name. 

Is this fairly well balanced?
 A. Cost.
 B. Over all effect.
 C. Length of Time. (number of turns on the field.).
 D. Should this be a permanent Permanent but with an activation cost for 1 turn? And if so What is the new casting cost?

Please help with more feedback as I think something like this will add whole new relams of possiabilities to the strategy of statis decks.

You could make it a cheapish permanent with 3 or 4 activation cost, IMO.

Wait for OT's opinion tho, he's the real expert.
