Perfect for rainbows.  I like how this can ultimatley fail sometimes (AAARRGH! If I hadn't sac'd my Earth Pillar, I would've have one more quanta to play a Shieker!).  As shown by the example in paretheses, you have to think.

My only worry is that the low cost may make the AI ignore this card more than they ought to. (If thats what I am worried about then this is golden)

That should maybe be more clear. I assumed it'd depend on the card being sac'd.

i reckon 10% chance of failing is too low, maybe raise to 20% but thats the max i´d recommend, otherwise there´s no point in using it if failure is practically insured, since im assuming that the upgraded one uses Upgraded spells? great idea and quite...fun

What about the odds of which spell is created; are there any spells that should definitely have a lower probability?

i think it should be 20% | 15%
as for the spells, make them all equal rates
ex. as there are 5 spells in the entropy category, each has a 20% chance

Fail rate 20% | 10 % IMO.  It feels balanced otherwise. Also, as Rutarete suggested, make all spells equal.

i'm a little confused about this. if you sacrifice one creature, shouldn't you get one spell?
and also- should there be a thing about higher costing creatures giving specific spells?
