Unupgrade button? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=14494.msg183926#msg183926

I think there should be a way to temporarily unupgrade your cards.  The vast majority of the tournaments are for un-upgraded cards only.  I Think it is silly that I cannot use any of my weapons or nymphs in these tournaments for the simple fact that I have upgraded them all.  My suggestion: add an option to start any match with the un-upgraded version of your deck (turn your deck into a pvp1 style deck).  Thoughts?

Not to sound callous, but one of the reasons many of us have 12 of each card is to upgrade 6 and leave the other 6 unupped specifically for tournaments.

An unupgrade button seems a bit too...permanent. People have suggested unupgrading for a cost, but I personally think the better suggestion is autodowngrade PVP duel for tournaments, so you can go ahead upping everything for other uses, but still continue using them in tournaments.

That feature has been suggested many times before.

That works for normal cards and even most rares, but it doesn't work for nymphs.

True, but in my experince, I see no reason to upgrade any nymph simply because the upgraded version isnt that much better. Best to leave them unupped to use in all formats.

Good point.  That's what I've done, but it's somewhat unfair to those who do upgrade their nymphs.

Great idea, please make it happen.

Having that possibility on PVP Duel shouldn't even need much coding, since that feature already exists on PVP1. Just adding a button to PVP Duel window that downgrades all cards in your current deck would do the job.

Indeed, some people like me upgrade their nymhps before they discover about tournaments and how they are unupgraded, I mean, I've got like 6 upgraded nymphs just rotting in storage right now...

So like every previous time it had been suggested I say YES!!! I like it.

How about you get a refund of 1000 electrum when you do it? Because selling upped cards nets you about 1200, unupgrading should give you slightly less.

Actually, I think it should be free and permanent (unless you pay the 1500 elec again)

I mean, it's a matter of fails... You made the mistake (upgrading), so you pay the prize... Apart from that, refunding 1500 elec (or 1000), would make upgrading something less serious, which I think'd be wrong...

Just my thought :D

This would mean that the button would probably only be used on non-farmable rares, the only of which that we have now is the nymphs.

And the marks technically. Much more relevant for the nymphs though.
