I agree with adding fractals, it can increase deck's rushing power and allow to play more creatures if you are lack of them
Somehow I think PU's are more versatile. PU'ing her unupped Phoenixes or Golems would be a nice move. Fractal is slow, expensive, drains :aether and clogs up your hand. We shouldn't really run out of creatures with 8 of them and 4 PU's should we?

It definately needs testing :)

IMO PU>Fractal here

You might consider playing unupped dragons since a ragepotion downright kills an upped one. Of course Naps might play upped potions, which kill an unupped dragon, but somehow I doubt it

Very good point. This is also the reason we need the Abyss Crawlers :)

Unup Dragons + Dims. Upgrade 6 Pends?

Not definitely! That's why I wrote might. Cause upped dragons are so much better with PU. We should consider the pros and cons and decide.

Upgrades can be changed between duels, so if you experience Rage Pots you can always unupgrade the dragons.

I was tinkering with something like this as a cardbase:

Deck import code : [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i8 5i8 5i8 5id 5id 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 61q 61q 61r 61r 61r 61r 61t 61t 61t 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gm 7gm 7gm 7i6 7i6 7i6 8pu

This means ditching the Tridents, the lone Squid, both Fractals and some Dims. I haven't found a way for making a deck that has the ability to throw out a full-potential Crawltal :/

Seeing that our remaining hitpower weights more on the Water side, taking some towers may help a bit with the fast reaction against Fire. For PUs you don't really need fast quanta, at least not that fast most of the time.. Also just as another idea, keeping the lightnings - of course if lucky enough to draw 'em both - could help supporting the bolts to get rid of annoying Phoenixes; that move may prove useful at some point.
With this setup we can even pull out a(n almost) "surprise mono" at a later match.. hey, it's not that bad.

I found that our already gappy set of Dim shields breaks the possible chain by themselves many times (not always, though), and they felt useless investment in :aether against deflags even more, still they can save you when played in the right time.. I'm not really sure about those, but a risky tactic against Fire anyway.
Lastly, having Toads around are great for luring away bolts from drakes/crawlers/you, and when desperate even copying them can score you a cheap comeback.
Upping Crawlers is a must, but Drakes/TU is an option too (yet too slow I think). Quanta generators are always nice to catch up with her.

Conclusion, it won't matter, because Naps can always upgrade the Rage Pots :(

If we wanna try the mono, I suggest trying it in the first match. That way Naps might slide out the deflags for match2 and our dimshields could matter soo much more if we put them back.

Basically, the only way I see for the dims to be a factor if we lure the deflags out of Naps' deck.

Indeed, even faking a bad start comes into mind.. could work..

We've seen Dims beat deflags several times this war. Test it!

I'd rather abuse Dims in the first match and change to something else in the 2nd when she packs all the explosions she can. Quite the opposite from what Acs suggested.
