Why immaterial creatures don't drown????

Also, i posted a suggestion for a buff in Buff This Card! » Flooding|Inundation (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,30091.msg438539#msg438539). Tell me what you think.

Immaterial objects cannot normally be affected by material objects. Water is material.
An Immortal doesn't need to breathe, for instance, as its existence has transcended the material world and life. Neither do they age, which is how Quintessence from the air of the gods (Aether) grants immortality.

I agree with giving a use for more copies of Flooding, though it's enough with removing one slot per copy and starting at 5.

Hope this is not necroing, but I fell that I have to say, Flooding is OK as it is. I made a deck (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,33584.0.html) based off Flooding's creature reduction, and Krathos made a similar deck before me (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,23118.0.html), where you can see its power once paired with the right cards*.
*Notice that it could have an Ice Dragon or two in the case you hate deckout decks

The reasoning is quite simple: Flooding does well against creature spam decks, but fails at creatureless decks or decks with few of them. Then you say it's UP because it doesn't counter everything else? There's when synergy comes in. Go look for a card that synergizes by killing few-creature decks (like antimatter) and there you have your buff to Flooding.
Krathos' deck was made even before this buff, and it worked (I guess not THAT well because of being a 40-card deckout deck), so I don't see why to directly buff this card, when it is already awesome...

I've been using flooding/AM enough lately on pvp, and most decks there are 30 cards, so i've been fine with 31-36, depending on how i like it. Some squids allow early control of the field. And yeah, i like flooding.

After a few matches, it seems the main use for this buff was to try to give poor Neptune some extra control. It helped a bit, since now he can much more easily lock your field with Squids. But other than than I've still not found great use for it even buffed. Maybe if the 1  :water upkeep was dropped as well.

To people who say it's underpowered still, it actually isn't at all. It can totally disrupt decks that swarm, like fireflies. Also, if the middle 5 slots are filled by bad cards, they can't be replaced by better ones until they die. So that middle row takes 1 damage might actually make the card worse.

Could have made the same argument before the buff. As is, its still waters worst card.

Nope. SoP took its place - Flooding became quite fun, actually.

SoP isn't a water card. I think flooding still needs more, but at least now its effect can be felt at times.

Really? Worse than Trident?

It kills quinted creatures, and most people completely don't expect it. I'm surprised there aren't more Nightmare + Flooding decks for PvE.

And this is supposed to be a water-only card. If it were splashed (http://tinyurl.com/iamsosorry1136 (http://tinyurl.com/iamsosorry1136)) in rainbow decks, it would become incredibly annoying, and there would probably be a ton of noobs complaining about it.

it does not kill quinted creatures.  or burrowed creatures.  And no one does nightmare+flooding because when you use nightmare, you don't want them to be playing those cards.

My bad, it doesn't seem to kill invulnerable creatures. But are you kidding about nightmare? Day Traitors is a well-known deck that is entirely based on the AI playing nightmared RoLs. I tried nightmare + photon + flooding, and the deck does well at least against AI3.
