Yep. Just basically hanging out in the background and waiting for new cards to arrive, but I'm still here. :)
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

I am glad to see this card get into the game. I don't understand why the need for the changes though.

In its current state, Dry Spell is borderline useless.
 - Its damage is negligible, just like the old Thunderstorm
 - The quanta gained does not warrant its use. Pillars are much more reliable and will produce more quanta.

Upped it's better because you can use it to gain quanta at least. You can control how much quanta you gain. But I feel that the upped version should become the unupgraded. So iin short, I would love to see the original card idea in the game. I witnessed the many hours spent thinking about it. It was very well thought out.

It's a bit weird to be able to squeeze water from skeletons. But oh well, water needs some fun.
I can imagine a death stall duo with this.

It may seem a bit weird if I'd comment here, I guess, but I feel I should.

My personal opinion is so far, that I cannot, but to agree with Shantu - even if I may prove somewhat biased -, that in its current form, it's rather weak. At least apart from some of its OTK capabilities, it doesn't really fulfill its (original) purpose; it seems to me that its uses are strictly limited and - dependent on deck - sometimes also redundant this way.

Anyway, I'd really like to see more feedback/opinions about this card from others.

Is it me, or is this card's effect backwards? The upgraded spell is harmful to your creatures as well. I guess we can spare 1 hit point, though.

I don't like the unupped name. I don't feel it accurately portrays the theme of absorbing water from one's opponents.

This. For CC, this is weak. For quanta accel, you are either getting a minimal amount of quanta or you are far, far behind the opponent.
Of course, every once in a while somebody will live the dream of getting rid of a field of MPs and gaining kazillion of quanta in the process.
