Anyway, what about MVP awards? When a team is eliminated, they choose one player as their MVP. I guess ties could be broken by the master and/or war master. When the war is over and everyone has had time to discuss the event and look at secret sections, the community votes for the overall MVP.

Ok, I vote the undefeated player that is about to lead their team to 1st place as MVP.

Plastiqe, an MVP doesn't have to be from a winning team. Especially with this game/event. There are many more factors than "undefeated." Puppychow, I believe, was undefeated except for his match against Zeru, in which Zeru took a counter and Puppy was on vacation when we assigned him his deck. Seems to me like he did just as good as Antagon. If we're only basing MVP on win records, which we wouldn't.

at first, i think plastiqe just wanted to show, that something like a mvp in a team-event is pretty useless.

we made all decisions as team, with suggestions from everyone (sure, i had the final decision, wasnt easy all the time), but to isolate a single player is nonsense.

if i manage to win against zeru at the finals - and this is a major "if" - i am the only player undefeated, but - and thats the only thing, that counts - my team would be the winner of this war. i made a few mistakes at deckchoice during this war, also i underestimated some ppl, ill try to change this for the upcoming war(s), but - and thats a fact - team fire did very well so far, and also if we get 2nd im glad i played with such great, thinking and mature players. i would also decline to nominate one for something like a mvp, its just the question, who is the most popular player here, just start a poll, if you want to know that. i also think, the majority of the community hasnt watched most of the matches and read all gamethreads, like we (the remaining elements and a few interested players, i also think most masters) did. that makes them unable to make a thoughtful vote.

Just realised I got mixed up with war and trials, war's starting after trials have finished I think or just look at top right of forum and there it says September 2010.

Just realised I got mixed up with war and trials, war's starting after trials have finished I think or just look at top right of forum and there it says September 2010.

Just missed trails (had 12 hours to try and spam 50 posts, so I just didn't try).  I don't want to miss the war also
