9/11ths of War's attraction comes from PvP mindgating and an emphasis on teamwork. The other 2/11ths usually comes from "drama" that people like to blow out of proportion for no good reason at all.

They can be ignored. Only thing needed is the price and the name of the item.

I'm going to guess that they were tiered based on their usage in War 8 decks, and then priced accordingly.

so the current situation is about 8 times as bad as the pvp bork from 2 wars ago.

wil we be using etg-vanilla for war (assuming this isnt fixed before auctions end) or will war just be held off?

Council will be discussing what route War could take and how this will affect War for the foreseeable future. Please bear with us until we can decide the best course of action for the situation.

I'm not participating in War, but for the recent loss of cards that many war grunts suffered, wouldn't it be good to extend applications for a while so the players - mostly the newer ones - have time to recover? I'm only asking as a neutral third party.

It's already been recommended. Council are discussing some things, I believe.  Also, I'll wait on what admins says in terms of recovery of people's cardpool.
