The sad thing is, that this mistake will likely benefit gravity if >3 cards, which completely defeats the purpose of a "penalty".

Rule bending and abusing is nothing new. if that result happens, at least that will be because of an honest mistake of gravity. Remember the subbing abuse in previous wars ? Some teams were repeatedly turning a penalty into a benefit and justifying it by "it is not against rules lololol".

Gravity will be given a loss on one random match. The match will be RNG'd following round 9's order (First game is 1, second is 2, third is 3.)

RNG spoke 1. (Legit Vs Jen-i) This match is deemed a loss for gravity. -3 card penalty for gravity


Standings are as follows

Aether 132 Fielding 3
Time 120 Fielding 3
Air 117 Fielding 3
Gravity 78 Fielding 2 (1 bye)


Round being restarted, all time will be reset shortly.

I respect your decision and will not argue, although I do feel that a loss against air would have been better (and not because we lost, for the other reasons posted).

So gravity screws vault and things randomly favor aether with extremely juicy salvage which also works against us ? Magnificent solution.

Randomly deciding an illegal deck is hilarious and obviously under influence. That random isn't random either, with 2 / 3 matches being aether.

You see hain, I have just two things to say.

1st, two thirds of the fault were in decks against aether.

and 2nd. I believe you said you love to cause drama? Well cause it in a private message from now. Please and thank you. (PS. I'm done responding to you)

@Laxadarap The only thing I could deem as fair was to either allow you to pick the loss (Against air likely, since you already lost) and give a -6 penalty, or randomize it and give you a -3 penalty. After an hour or so I decided that the simplest, and most fair to all parties was to leave it to chance. Sure the odds would have been better if it was 1-1-1 but it wasn't. And it wouldn't be fair to force it to be a 50/50 chance given that two illegal decks were used against aether.

I'll agree with this, have a physics test I should probably be studying for.
