War #6 - Voices of the Fallen

This topic is for teams to discuss why they lost and educate people in future wars so they don't make similar mistakes. It is also for people still in war and people outside of war to console fallen teams.

Stay motivated
Don't be careless

And I suck at making predictions in this PvP format.  Hopefully whoever leads Life next War is a better General than I have been and could hope to be.

Guess this is the part where I say I am in-part to blame for what happened with Life. I have been almost entirely inactive this War, which I feel like heavily contributed to our failings. No, I'm not saying I'm such a great Elemenetser that if I was active, we would be in the top 3, but instead I am saying that if I had known I would be this inactive, maybe those cards could've been spent on someone more... worthwhile for Team Life. Sometimes people feel things like this should stick strictly to the team's subforum, but I do greatly feel that my lack of motivation played a massive part in our losings, and I apologize to Team Life and to will.

Everything fell apart in fallen teams.

Lack of activity, and by extension, lack of communication and organization. Every game we actually tested against multiple decks, we won, but there were rarely enough of us on at one time to coordinate that.

8th place for a team as unorganized as we were is pretty decent though :3

No problems with activity, coordination, and stuff, just... other teams just seemed to predict our decks perfectly even when their predictions made no sense. RNG (mostly) did not help.

Tips:

• Understand your team. Successes and failures of one are those of everyone.
• Build your Rock, Paper, and Scissors well. Also, make sure you have Lizard, Spock and others as well.
• Lack of morale happens, talk it out. You're not the only one.
• It's called Elements the Game. If you're not having fun, something is wrong.
