...what?

THIRTY card penalty?

30 is seriously beyond excessive. 45 minutes past the round time really isn't that bad. If anything, it would fall under

"Major penalty   12 cards   For major infractions like seriously disrupting the whole event."

which would be a 12 card penalty.

Apparently there is precedent for this. Is there a link to said precedent? On the morning of the deadline I got on and realized that basically everything we agreed on was a fail, so I had to spend several hours tinkering around with S/D/C/P and decks and such. I wasn't even planning on being online until ~2 hours before the deadline because as far as I knew, all I had to do was copy and paste some deck codes. It's a very scary thought that had I done so, I would be facing a 30 card penalty. I would, of course, expect some penalty, but 30 is very ridiculous.

6 decks undone = 3 card penalty each.
Which would be 18 cards.

12 more for a major penalty.

It would either be 18 or 12. The "major penalty" would be inclusive of not having decks ready. Otherwise, you're penalizing a team twice for the same thing.

I wasn't expecting 30 card penalty either. 30 card penalty was probably unnecessary because speedbuilding 6 decks has a good chance to lead many losses which in itself is an extra penalty. 18 was appropriate but i don't know the whole reasoning of WMs.

But by the looks of it, gravity doesn't care enough about the war anyway. Noone in the team communicating about the vault nor caring to watch the timer and fix the vault by taking individual responsibility is bizzare, unless you have a dictator general who doesn't let anyone touch the vault but i don't think nils is like that : )

If you ask me, 18 was enough too. Not like they caused a major disruption to the entire game. More like to their standing.

If WMs were to use a strict deadline it would be 6 losses, 30 cards was enough since there was nothing done.

Free Gravity! Time for court-martial!

30 cards is very hard, like bogtro and Hainkarga said.
I like this line:

I wasn't expecting 30 card penalty either. 30 card penalty was probably unnecessary because speedbuilding 6 decks has a good chance to lead many losses which in itself is an extra penalty. 18 was appropriate but i don't know the whole reasoning of WMs.

But by the looks of it, gravity doesn't care enough about the war anyway. Noone in the team communicating about the vault nor caring to watch the timer and fix the vault by taking individual responsibility is bizzare, unless you have a dictator general who doesn't let anyone touch the vault but i don't think nils is like that : )

But one thing I learned in the past, because I was personally too strictly with some decisions of event organizer. I respect every decision WMs did and will do. I just feel bad for Gravity and sometimes miracle do happen.
