30 is seriously beyond excessive. 45 minutes past the round time really isn't that bad. If anything, it would fall under
"Major penalty 12 cards For major infractions like seriously disrupting the whole event."
which would be a 12 card penalty.
Apparently there is precedent for this. Is there a link to said precedent? On the morning of the deadline I got on and realized that basically everything we agreed on was a fail, so I had to spend several hours tinkering around with S/D/C/P and decks and such. I wasn't even planning on being online until ~2 hours before the deadline because as far as I knew, all I had to do was copy and paste some deck codes. It's a very scary thought that had I done so, I would be facing a 30 card penalty. I would, of course, expect some penalty, but 30 is very ridiculous.
