Greetings, fellow Elementals. Some of you have gathered together, united under the flags of the Twelve Nations. Some in Team Aether, some in Team Death... And so on. The twelve nations have constantly been at war, fighting for dominance of the land. But the things they don't know, however, are us.
Who are us?
Humans have always feared darkness. They fear dusk, careful so nothing could snatch them away in the dark. They are all cowering in their dwellings, hoping the night would soon be over and light would come and vanquish the darkness. Let their guard down even for one second, and the darkness will rip apart their very existence.
They fear the dark itself.
Why, do you think they fear the dark? Because something's lurking in the shadow. Things meant to never be known, to never be understood. Things meant to cast fear and chaos upon the shadow.
Those are us, the Darklurkers.
Us Darklurkers have always been losing the war. But this time, it's different. You will all fear us. You will all be frightened just by a passing mention of the name "Darklurker".
We have tricks under our sleeve. Tricks you won't ever expect. Tricks which may, at times, seem underhanded or even dirty. But this is war, and us Darklurkers never play fair.
Cloaked under the shadow, we stalk the battlefield. Swift as the wind yet silent as the shadow. Cunning as the wolf yet subtle as the night. Pushing on and on, under the cover of the creeping darkness, until we corrupt everything and leave nothing intact.
Oh, yes, of course we've prepared our weapons for this too.
You think we will enter the battlefield using standard-issued Cloak and Dagger? Think again!
Ahh, yes. Yes, we are ready for the war.
I advise you to be ready on your toe too. Because we will attack swiftly, unnoticedly, leaving only the corrupted behind.
