I also like this event card very much. It's a great way to introduce war mechanics at a slower pace, with only 2 duels we have to analyse and discuss, instead of being overwhelmed with 8 matches right at the beginning.

I imagine it might be a bit boring to the veterans, but it's very nice for the 1st timers in war, and at least for me the other parts of war besides the duels are interesting as well, so I'm happy even if I'm not playing in the 1st round.

Me too! I feel already very excited for the first battle, if my team was busy with their own match it would be very chaotic!
Instead we have the :time to discuss our strategies, and we know each other better!
This is how its meant to be: gradual start, and then WOOOOAAAARRRR!

I don't quite understand the bold part. All duels are best of five. "Only 2 duels" means, a team can lose only 48 cards this round. It would be much more if everyone fights. That is good for first round.

Most of your post is wrong. This card reduces RNG,

This obviously reduces RNG involved, since now you only have to guess what decks will bring on only 2 matches, and if you make a mistake, then you only lose 48 cards. Having to do that with 8 matches is a lot harder now that vaults are completely unknown.
