From my understanding, this means that we should be creating a new thread called "Round 2 - Salvaging, Discarding, Penalties and Converting" regardless that we are now in Round 3 deckbuilding phase. Is this correct? My main concern is the thread title.

Why are you converting when your vault has just been created?

Because you fail building the vault..? Though it is most unlikely (the new seeding does prevent this in a big margin), there might be circumstances where you want to convert in the first round - e.g converting pendulum to pillar or vice versa to build better decks.

And before anyone implies something, no - team darkness has a great starting vault.  8)

Opponents will be determined randomly by Warmasters using an online randomizer, with the constraint that no team will play another team more than once within a given round if possible.

If it comes to the point where 2 teams are left but they can both field more than one player, do we still play only one match? Depending on the card base of both teams, that would be both unnecessary imo and take much longer than if we play multiple times.

This was asked by someone before when the rule first came out and it was explained that they will play multiple matches.  That is why it has "if possible" at the end.

This War has already started (and in fact is almost finished). Stick around on the forums and when next war comes around you can try to join that one.

You'll have to wait for War #4, in about 1-2 months. I know, that's a bit long. You can have a look on other PvP Events and Tournaments meanwhile
