WAR #3 - OPENING ROUND Coming Soon! News: Before we start, please read War Rules (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,13006.0.html) one more time. Some details might have changed since you last read them, and "I didn't know" won't be accepted as an excuse. The Generals are building the team Vaults as you read this. When they have completed that task the 1st round pairings will be created and round 1 will be underway.  Deckbuilding phase will last for 4 days after which we will move on to Duel phase which also lasts 3 days.

Didn't SG say that the Vault would start at 480 each team, before the Auction and Propaganda were applied?

Rechecked, right here, What will be different in War #3 (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,16121.0.html), it says Vaults are to be decreased to 480 ???

It was planned but never confirmed for the rules. 500 is what it is.

1.1. GENERALS
War will have 12 Generals, one for each element. Masters are the Generals of their element by default. If a Master is unable to join War, he or she will appoint a replacement General (Sr. Member or above). If one or more elements don't have a Master, a General will be picked by the Council.

Generals are given 500 blank cards. These cards will be used as currency when recruiting players during the next phase. Later they will be used to build the starting Vault for the team.

Starting vault for UW in this thread says 288.. in the rules section for UW it still says 240.. I'm guessing it hasn't been changed yet in the rules thread?

Deckbuilding phase will last for 4 days after which we will move on to Duel phase which also lasts 4 days.

In the Rules thread, it still says 4 days of deckbuilding, 3 days of duels when there are 27-52 duels happening in the round (there are currently 48 duels scheduled for this round).

The minimum vault for the 8 underworlders to play is 288, so that will be their opening vault.

That rule entry is out of date. I'll fix it.

The starting vaults are interesting, it is what I thought it would be to a point however darkness seems to have tricked me. I was not paying attention so them spending so little on players and such leaving them with the 5th largest vault size is the only real shock. I think they will have a strong first round if they did things correctly, and if rng chooses to not destroy them.
For life, death, and water I say good luck you will need a strong start and get the cards you need. Choose with wisdom! If you get a good first round I could see you guys having a chance but for the msot part I hate to say it but I think you guys might have a slow death this war. Just saying.... Life has the best chance I think out of the 3 of you.

@LongDono - Death spent an average amount of cards on players. They have the third highest starting vault because they won the propaganda vote. IMO they have a better shot than life and water, but this discussion is for a different thread.
