Phase 3 - Community Vote

It's time to vote for your favorite Master candidate!  Every community member may vote on only one candidate. You can change your vote(s) at any time as long as there is still time on the clock.

Vote based on who you think would make the best Master of that element. Do not vote based on who is the best player or who you know personally. Try to pick someone who you think would help the community the most as THE representative for their element.  If you believe none of the Trialists should be Master, please select the "None Worthy" option. 

To help you make the best decision possible, feel free to ask the candidates questions.  Both challengers and defending Masters ought to answer the questions in this thread (and in the General questions thread) to help the voters make the best possible choice.  Please put all your answers in a single post (employing spoiler tags is recommended).  Also, challengers should include in that post a link to your Phase 1 submission post.

On average Team Entropy was expected to finish around #9-10 in War 12. Our team (Blacksmith, Aves, Wyand) took #6 instead.

who in your opinion has been the best master of entropy and why

I'm only here since Dec 2017, so I don't have many memories about previous Masters. I know that Calindu and Zeru were/are also considered legendary players, at the same time my vote goes to iancudorinmarian. Being 4 times Master (while beating Calindu in the process) is a unique thing.

Explain why you are more noob than your opposing trialists. If you convince me more than the others, I may give you pity vote for being so noob.

I lost against you last tourney. (Jen hasn't .)

To everyone who isn't playing STANDINs, who would you have liked to trial against?

I'm answering this question since right now I have no idea if I'll play against Jen or a STANDIN. Wanted to trial against iancu, but sadly he got fed up with rng.

Is the element you have trialed for your favorite?

Absolutely. Saw the game for the first time, chose instantly.

What does the element you trial for represent to you?

Many many possibilities. Check my last year's Phase 1 entry.

What does being a Master mean to you?

Everything. A huge individual feat, even greater than being World Champion. At the same time it comes with responsibilities: leading your Element into War, showing leadership, representing your Element.

What qualities do you expect from a Master, and do you aspire to live up to?

Being faithful to your Element, leading your fellow teammates into the fray in War, motivating them, helping new players in the community.

Do you plan to participate in War and/or Brawl if you have the time?

It would be an honor leading again into the battle. I'm not sure about Brawl. If I participate War, chances are high that I won't have energy for Brawl.

Do you consider being a Master to be mostly PvP-related, or should they also represent their element in competitions?

It is always heartwarming when a Master shows his/her elemental affinity in a PvP Event. If you meant Art/Deckbuilding competitions, my answer is also yes. Not compulsory but very, very welcomed. It is always good to see some enthusiasm.

What is the sleeper card in your element

SoSe, Butterfly Effect and Mutation/Fallen Elf. SoSe is simply unpredictable and you can boost the given deck with creatures/pc/cc by your taste/situation, while BE and Mutation can wreck entire decks (which don't have a proper amount of cc).

Hey all,

Sorry for my sudden and unexpected absence. Between having the plague ravage my house, missing tons of work, the craziness of my fall work schedule (and trying to play catch up) and some significant internet issues at my house I have not simply been less active I haven't been able to or had time to log in at all.

Just wanted to let you all know where I was at ... I think the plague is finally gone ... but need a few more days to be sure ... work insanity has slowed ... now I'm simply dealing the the vagaries of internet access in the rural world.

Given my inactivity ... I'm happy to play the finals but will not accept the mastership if I win ... it just would not feel right.
